The 23-mile long Isle of Wight is England’s largest island and has been a popular holiday and short-break destination in the UK since the 18th century.

Isle of Wight NHS Trust is the only integrated acute, community, mental health and ambulance health care provider in England. It provides a full range of health services to a population of 140,00 which is considerably swelled by tens of thousands of visitors, especially in the summer.

With 57 miles of coastline to explore, the total area of the island is approximately 147 square miles and almost half has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is known for its mild climate, coastal scenery, and verdant landscape of fields, downland and chines.
