Keep Baddies at Bay - Healthier Together.jpgWelcome to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight communications resources page. Working together as an Integrated Care System we have potential to reach and engage with a far greater proportion of our population than we each do alone.

Below you will find a selection of graphics and videos available to view and download on some of the key issues we face. Please do use these on your own internal and public facing channels where relevant. We will be frequently adding to and updating this page.

We’re also keen to hear of the great work you’re doing with your local populations. If you have any resources that you’d like to share here that you think partners could benefit from, or if you have any questions about our campaigns, please do get in touch with our team at: hiowicb-hsi.communications@nhs.net

A series of audience tested and NHS branded campaign assets developed by the team at Hampshire County Council are available to:

  • Raise awareness of the risk and prevalence of high blood pressure among our communities
  • Encourage people to 'know their numbers' - to proactively check their blood presuure and then take steps to look after their health

The campaign call to action links to our local NHS Healthy Hearts page with information, advice and access to support on managing high blood pressure.

You can download the assets here or using the links to files at the bottom of this page.

Tony case study

Suggested copy: Tony wasn't recovering well following a surgery. He told us how 111 helped him feel better and get the support he needed. If you need help you can call 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk. Enquiries to 111 online are handled by the same staff and go into the same queues, so the waiting times are exactly the same.

Sarah case study

There are now many trained and committed staff besides GPs who work in general practice, all dedicated to helping make sure patients get the right care as quickly as possible. The below video profiles and accompanying descriptions help to raise awareness of how this wider team support GPs to care for their communities, and that patients may be offered appointments with one or more of these health care professionals. Advice from Dr Ranj:

We have produced a number of resources that primary care and ICB partner colleagues can use to explain to the public how health and care services share information from patient records and how this data is kept confidential, safe and secure.

These resources can be found at the bottom of this web page. They include:

  • Text for a web page
  • Text for a news item or newsletter article
  • A series of social media posts (linked to four animations)
  • Staff briefing text
  • An Easy Read leaflet
  • FAQs
  • A ‘Sharing your information’ poster
  • The Sharing Data Saves Lives logo
  • Image for practice TV screens (primary care only)

There are two separate sets of resources – one for primary care and one for system partner organisations.

Please feel free to use this information in your own communications material and channels.
