We will also ask you to provide a core weekly fee (more information below). Core Staffing Calculator
The Core Staffing Calculator will inform CHC of how many carer/nurse hours (where appropriate) are comprised of the core weekly fee. Please note that the Core Staffing Calculator must be completed based on what the homes' maximum occupancy would be if every bed were occupied (i.e. the maximum number of residents the home is registered to accept) and NOT based on the current occupancy in the home.
Core Weekly Fee
The core weekly fee should cover the placement cost and standard care needs for an individual. Where a client has complex care needs that are above the standard level of care, enhanced care costs can be added on top of the core weekly fee if agreed as appropriate by our clinicians – this is something that would be agreed at the time of the referral.
Once all the required information has been supplied and the core weekly fee has been approved by CHC Commissioning Team, your care home will be added to our Provider Directory, making you visible to our locality teams and available to receive NHS referrals.
When completing the form below, please propose a Core Weekly Fee for the current financial year. Our Commissioning team will then review these rates and compare them to the average rates that we pay for comparable services. The rate will be effective for the duration of the financial year and can only be reviewed once a year during the formal Fee Review process, which is carried out in March each year. Please note that the Core Weekly Fee will apply to all rooms in the home.
