Over 28,000 local people have now received a life-saving coronavirus vaccine through the incredible efforts of the doctors, nurses, practice staff and volunteers of Romsey and North Baddesley practices.
Crosfield Hall was established in December as a coronavirus vaccination site in response to the UK’s largest immunisation programme and has enabled those people who are most clinically vulnerable from coronavirus to receive a vaccine.
The practices now want to focus on fully restoring general practice services and providing care to their registered patients.
The vaccination site at Crosfield Hall will close on 9 June 2021
For those that have appointments booked up until this date, nothing will change. After this date, people registered either with Alma Road, Abbeywell, North Baddesley and Knightwood Surgeries will still be able to access a vaccine appointment through the National Booking Service online here or by telephoning 119. This includes, as of today, anyone aged 32 and over and those requiring a second dose.
People will have a choice of locations to book, the nearest vaccination sites being:
o AR Community Pharmacy Vaccination site, Hazel Farm Road, in Totton
o Boyatt Wood Community Pharmacy Vaccination site, St Peters Church Hall, Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh and
o Vaccination Centre in Oakley Road, Millbrook, Southampton
All local sites will have sufficient vaccine to ensure that residents of Romsey and North Baddesley can continue to access vaccines in line with the Government’s planned rollout of the programme.

“We would like to thank the entire team and volunteers of the Romsey and North Baddesley practices for the amazing work they have undertaken to rapidly vaccinate local people and Test Valley Borough Council for the use of Crosfield Hall. Thanks to their efforts and commitment, the vast majority of people who are most vulnerable have now received at least one dose of the life-saving vaccine. Local people still to receive their first or second dose of the vaccine who are, as of today, over the age of 32 are able to book their appointment through the National Booking Service online or by telephoning 119, and will be able to attend another vaccination site”
